SBI Partners with Bisleri to Strengthen Plastic Waste Management Across Offices

SBI and Bisleri have partnered under the Bottles for Change initiative to train employees, collect plastic waste from offices and promote recycling, supporting sustainable practices and India’s transition towards a circular economy.

State Bank of India (SBI), the nation’s largest bank, has signed a Letter of Association with Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. to promote responsible plastic waste management across SBI branches and offices.

Under the partnership, Bisleri will conduct training and awareness sessions for SBI employees and housekeeping staff on responsible plastic waste management. The initiative will also involve the collection of used plastic waste from SBI offices and its subsequent recycling.

The collaboration is being undertaken under Bisleri’s ‘Bottles for Change’ initiative, through which the packaged water brand works with institutions, housing societies, corporates and communities to raise awareness about responsible plastic waste management.

The partnership between SBI and Bisleri is also aimed at supporting India’s transition towards a circular economy by promoting sustainable practices in plastic waste management. It aligns with the country’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2070.
